Rolls-Royce is building a new facility in Virginia that will make turbine blades and nozzel guide vanes for engines.
According to a press release from the company, the group is investing $136 million to develop a 90,000ft2 Advanced Airfoil Machining facility in Prince George County, creating 140 jobs. It will be built alongside side the company's Crosspointe campus.
Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2013, with the first components produced in late 2014, according to the press release.
